Schertler SA was
founded in 1985 in Switzerland by Bassist Stephan Schertler. Schertler
was a frustrated acoustic musician looking, as many do, for that
seemingly unobtainable sound when playing amplified. Since then
Schertler has achieved some major breakthroughs with a full line
of sound reinforcement products for acoustic instruments.
Schertler manufacture a range of acoustic instrument pickups and
also a range of active loudspeakers.
Schertler now has facilities in both Switzerland and the USA
