Flight Case
for 3/4 size double bass
At last a reasonably priced quality flight case suited for 3/4(+)
size upright bass. Made of high impact 3cm sponge styrofoam and
Oxford cloth surface, (similar to cello cases). This is a very
strong case and has the advantage that it is also very light for
size - only 9.6 kg! This makes it ideal for air travel in USA
where new excess weight rule enforcement ban heavy fibreglass
cases in some airlines.
The case has semi concealed wheels so that rolling it along is
simply a matter of leaning the case towards you and pushing or
pulling it.
The case is stable when
upright. It has pockets for manuscript, leads etc and internal
storage for leads, resin and 2 bows.
multiple handles make maneuvering the case a breeze even for a
small person
This is the safest way to transport your bass on an airplane or
truck. It is still light and easy to handle, but even if it falls
over the bass will be unharmed. Actually less likely to be harmed
with this case than a fibreglass case!

Made especially to order in China for superior
quality control (we can supply a cheaper Chinese made case
but most are not a universal fit and are suitable for a very limited
range of basses, This case is of much better manufacture standard
and is a universal fit case suiting a wider range of basses.

Pete's bass is a large 3/4 verging on 7/8 size with a C extension.
It fits very firmly in the case especially in shoulder area where
bass is quite wide.

Shipping charge for export orders is calculated automatically in shopping

Unless otherwise requested shipping of flight cases to other countries
is direct from the factories in Korea or China by sea/land. This is
slower but makes shipping economical. The case will be shipped to
a port or airport near you. Shipping cost includes only delivery to
that port/airport. Purchaser is responsible for any port clearance
charges and customs duty if applicable.
If goods are not in stock at time of order you will be notified by
email.
In all cases there is a tracking system for keeping track of parcels
in the system. You will be allocated a track and trace number by email.
