Bass is in fine condition. It was owned by a well known jazz bassist. Ideally the action should be lowered somewhat for a more modern style jazz player - this can be done at purchasers expense. The current action height would probably suit an orchestral player.
The instrument has been well looked after with no signs of repairs. It has an impressive  big solid sound.
